Unfortunately I had a flu throughout the week and I couldn't attend college. I have editing software at home so I tried to make the best out of the situation. I love making gaming edits which is also media so I made one which took me two days to make. I spent the first day recording the footage which sounds simpler than it is. I had to launch the game (Counter Strike: Global Offensive) in windowed mode running with a 1280x720 resolution. I had to access the games console and use scrips to be able to get cinematic shots and get rid of the user interface for the clean look. I also recorded the footage at a 0.2 speed and I then added the footage to software that let me make it 300fps thus turning it to normal speed and giving it a very smooth look. During the second day I edited the video, starting out with syncing the footage with the music. I did this by cutting the footage , panning and cropping it and changing the velocity to add a flow and rhythm. I then added other effects using the sapphire plugin which I only recently installed to sony vegas. I had fun editing the video.

I really like the editing style I used in this video and I'm planning on doing multiple short clips of real life footage.
