This week we were tasked with doing a video that sells London to a specific age group. I chose to create a video for the 15-20 age group but I asked Emma if I would be able to do 18-23 instead because there are significant differences between the interests of a 15 and 18 year old. Me and my teammate then thought that there would be to much to cover so we came up with the idea to make a ''Survival guide for students living in London''. We will basically explain where and how to do cheap stuff such as travel, spare time and food. We did primary and secondary research on this topic and took notes of what we want to achieve. We questioned our classmates about what they like doing in London with little money and also ourselves since were part of this demographic. We still thought that we will have a lot to film but we should be able to manage. My teammate went out filming on Friday, I couldn't go with him because I had a severe toothache and needed to book an emergency appointment at the dentist.
Audience
Reading 2013 Trailer: The Reading Festival Promo is distinctly aimed at young people aged between 16(18)-25. The energetic dance music and the flashy lights is something young people look for in a festival and trailer is full of it. It uses a flashy light leak overlay, has loud dubstep music and playing and is just a montage of people having a good time. I wrote 16-25 with 18 in brackets because it also indirectly encourages alcohol consumption.

Nike Camouflage Clothing Ad Campaign: This is also targeted at young people aged 10-25. This will attract a lot of athletes as it's made to fit comfortably but also people that want to wear it for fashion as a lot of hip hop idols have been wearing it. Having Neymar and Ronaldo as the models will also draw their fans to this.
